Well if you read the amendment and don't just focus on the part about baring arms, it says in order to maintain a well regulated militia, every state can form one up and bam gun owners can do what they please again as long as they're registered. Solves everything

Nice in theory, but these days militia is read as National Guard(Militia Act of 1903).

States I am aware of with private militia's:

California
Michigan
Texas
Hawaii
New York

States with branches of Ranch Rescue Militia(border protection)

Arizona
California
Colorado
Kentucky
New Mexico
Missouri
Oklahoma
Texas
Virginia

The only people that follow the law are law abiding citizens. Criminals break the law. That's why they're considered criminals. If you pass laws banning guns do you really think criminals will abide by them?

Nope, and they will continue to have more powerful guns (semi/auto) than law enforcement has.

everyone should be given a gun when they turn 18..that should stop some of the random violence..if they know you'll shoot back, they'll think twice
