Be glad you watched that game last night Gunner. The DC/NY game was just painful. DC looked horrible and NY looked clueless. Sloppy... i ended up turning that off and watched most of the Crew vs. RSL game (but i kept flipping between the two). RSL can be fun to watch on offense, but their defense and goal keeper kill them.

Since when do ghosts have shifts?

Yeah RSL was decent in the second half as they pretty much kept the Crew under the kosh for most of the time. Cunningham turned up the heat as well in order to get RSL the full 3 points. Oh, that penaly call in the first half that put the Crew ahead was complete rubbish.

I missed the Crew goal... i had the DC/NY game on at that point. The Crew scored before i realize what a complete shit game i was watching. (no i'm not bitter at all). Cunningham has been great as of late, very nice set up on the game winner.

I an actuality the Crew looked the better side in the first half and got the gift penalty to take the lead. RSL just turned up the heat in the second half and the only subs they made were offensive and the Crew just couldn't deal with it. I like it when clubs go for it like that.

I've been slacking in this thead... Tonight we will find out if my Revs have officially thrown in the towel or not. They are a group of unhappy futbollers since all their transfer requests were denied by MLS. Tonight - Revs vs. DC United. They don't need to win, but a good showing would at least keep me watching the rest of the year. If they give no effort it will be time to focus more on Real or Chicago.

Could be interesting game, but DC United don't really need this match they are already in the playoffs and lead the east comfortably. I watched United play RSL last weekend and Freddy Adu scored on a brilliant free kick just about 20 yards from goal, put up and over the wall and it came down into the goal perfectly.

Yeah like i said, i'm not too worried about the result... i'm more interested in their effort tonight. They have played like shit because some of their key players aren't happy. Adu will be in the EPL before no time i'm sure of it.
So will my boys Dempsey and Joseph. I forget which team it was but one EPL team sent a transfer offer for Joseph, but the MLS turned it down. He was NOT happy. |
