2-0 Revs win over NY last night. Great goal by Twellman and nice put back by Dorman after a pretty Dempsey free kick. With the win, it pretty much locks up a first round match up with Chicago for the Revs. The Revs only have 1 win vs. the Fire this year with 3 losses to them and a tie. Gonna be rough.

Nice result for your boys there Jay. I still can't believe that Bruce Arena did not take Twellman to the World Cup.

Yeah i was hoping he would make the team, but didn't know near enough about the rest of the guys to know if he should have or not. I'm sure Twellman felt great to score ON Arenas team.

On a side note... apparently some of the Revs got into a "scuffle" at a local bar the other day. And apparently somehow Sharlie's hand got sliced really badly by a piece of glass. I guess he has tendon and nerve damage in his hand. How a hand can keep a soccer player out for the rest of the regular season is beyond me... but i hope he gets better soon. I'm still waiting to find an article about the incident.

What will be interesting to see is how much $$$$ Red Bull intends to invest in the Red Bulls, they may have the financial werewithal to really shake things up in MLS.

Thats what I said at first too... but an article on SI.com said the doctor told him that he could lose feeling in his hand forever if he plays. If a doctor told me that i wouldn't leave my couch for a month.

beckham and ronaldo next year.....and we still miss the playoffs

I still think your boys will get into the playoffs. I think Kansas City and Columbus will be the two teams to miss in the east. However, it won't do any good because they will get throttled by DC.

My predicitons...

East Final...
DC vs. Chicago

West Final...
Dallas vs. Chivas

Finals..
DC over Dallas
