Don't sound like a nice day in Newcastle;
"Newcastle and Portsmouth are struggling to cope with the wet pitch at St James' Park and too many passes keep getting stuck in puddles." |

i agree with gunny...but i wouldn't put it past them to not try as hard in the carling cup cause a top finish in the fa league means bigger and better competitions...champions league, uefa cup..

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer puts United up 1-0, this match marks the return of Alan Smith to the Red Devils lineup since his double break in his leg last season.

Darren Bent puts Charlton in the lead 1-0 over Bolton as things continue to deteriorate at Newcastle.
"There isn't much entertainment at St James' Park where both sides are playing dour football but the poor conditions aren't helping." |

It looks like both Pompey and Newcastle are playing pretty many starters actually from what i can tell. It sucks the field is such a mess. All i can think about is the movie GOAL, where he was trying out for the team in the muddy practice field.

ugh, in the Italian Serie A, AC Milan leading Chievo 1-0, things don't look good for my Flying Donkeys this year, way it is going I'll be happy they avoid the drop.

"Flying Donkeys"??? Really? They should drop just for having that name.

I love that name! They actually took that name because a few years back their cross city rivals Verona I think their owner or someone official with the club said when asked about Chievo's chances of getting into Serie A he said "That will only happen when Donkeys Fly"
The fans of Chievo then adopted the name, hey it was the main reason I started to follow them as well. |
