The Championship Final is set as Derby County will face West Bromwich Albion. The final will be played in the New Wenbley Stadium with the winner gaining promotion to the Premier League for next season.

Yeah I kinda favor West Brom to be back as well, although I really would have liked Wolves to return.

A 1-0 win at Wembley in the Playoff Final ensures the final promotion spot to the Premier League to Derby County. The last time the Rams were in the Premier League was in 2002 I believe after that the club went into administration but has now put things in order and Premier League football will return to Pride Park.

You got it Jay those are the three teams being promoted for next season.

Sunderland = cnuts, that's all you need to know

Birmingham City are local rivals to Aston Villa, both clubs play in Birmingham. City are also known as small heath, Bongo City and/or the Knuckledraggers

Derby County used to play in a place called the Baseball Ground also one of my favorite Gunners of all time played a short time there, Charlie George, albeit he played there with a perm.

I don't know Gunner... I'll have to watch Sunderland a bit before i put them on my C-list. I really like what they did this past year. In January, there were about mid table... and they did what they had to to run away with the league and get promoted. Gotta love how a team wants to win that bad, and an owner doing what it takes to make that happen.

sunderland is one of those teams that is there one year and gone the next...rinse and repeat...doubt they'll ever get to that level where they are consistently in the epl

Speaking of ups and downs, you guys know anything about this Bobby McMahon dude from foxsoccer.com? He is predicting that two of the Championship teams will avoid relegation and Fulham, Wigan and Derby will be going down. Is it possible that my 3rd team Fulham may be going to the "minors"?
