I don't see how we are going to advance. We are way behind in goal differential, and both other 3rd place teams already have 3 points. It looks like the Columbia game is a game for pride and experience.

well mapp barely got any time with the big squad...i think with a few caps, he can be the answer at left mid...screw beasley...i also like kljestan with more experience...2010 feilhaber, kljestan and clark as the middle...that could be solid
jozy has a bright future...hopefully he brings his form to the national team in the future...also david szerljtasdafjl(can't pronounce his name but he's on the u20 team) is also a possibility in a few years

the south american federation is very unhappy with us bringing our B squad...i am as well in a way...no better way to see how we stack up until we play top level squads in a meaningful competition...a B squad Brazil and the A squad Argentina will let us know real quick if we are there yet

I understand CONMEBOL's concern's regarding the USA bring a B-squad to the Copa America but what gets me worked up is that they did not express the same feeling for Brazil. Brazil did not bring it's strongest squad so fuck CONMEBOL.

I can see why they would be pissed, but how else do we get our younger guys national playing time? How would we figure out who can play well or not? Its tough, but winning this competition does nothing for us a country.

Brazil's B team is still top 3 in the competition..ours is not...and i agree jay but they shoulda mixed it up better and brought some of our "star" players...just not beasley cause its embarrassing enough without his disasterous play

Wow... weird is all that came to my mind when i saw this score. Other than the two Chile games, Brazil limped their way through this cup... while Argentina was a knife and their opponents were butter. I figured they would roll over Brazil.
Anyone see the final? I didn't get a chance to, but the 3-0 score shocked the hell outta me.

just saw the score...argentina is brazil's bitch though...they have a hard time beating them and brazil really steps up there game when they play them...thats the battle for the continent...you don't wanna be the loser of that game
