i'm not a hedjuk fan personally so i'm not thrilled with him playing on the national team..i'd rather see bornstein back there with simek or bocanegra on the other side

canada should easily move on...i can't imagine guadeloupe is a powerhouse

I see your point on Bornstein, perhaps he is earmarked for the Copa America.

well we won an ugly 1-0 game...guatamala was dirty and of course the ref was totally against us...some bad no calls and some worse calls...giving a yellow/red to onyewu was ridiculous...we'll get to see demerit for a full 90 now...thats good...i loved the formation...hedjuk and bornstein to attack down the wings...donovan on the outside to keep him away from trying to score cause he doesn't show up in any big game....formation was good in thought...not well executed though

beasley is a waste...he has no ability to shoot and should be on the bench...mapp should get the start next game

That officiating for the Guatamala match was horrendous. That effing linesman who kept calling everyone offsides needed a serious head bashing. Ugly win, yes, but that is what is required sometimes.

Almost a completely different squad against T&T. I really liked Simek. I think he seemed to really attack effectively from that right back postion. Of course T&T was nowhere near the caliber of their World Cup squad but hey you can only play who is scheduled.

On a different note, who woulda thunk that Guadaloupe would be leading their group after an incredible upset over Canada. Just proves the old saying, it's a funny old game.

The first match was dreadful, a stupid as fcuk linesman and Carlos Ruiz diving like a beached whale. The T&T match I really liked seeing some of the new blood in the US lineup.

Tomorrow night is the final group game so it should be interesting to see who Bradley uses against El Salvador.

Oh and M*x*c* lost BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

the sideline ref was just blind as a bat....and ruiz diving all the time woulda made jay insane...

i wouldn't mind seeing our third goalie, gauzon get a start since we already made it thru....

side note...kenny cooper, who probably woulda been on the copa america squad broke his leg so we won't be seeing him play in that tourny..tough break, no pun intended
