yea i was pretty dirty....i used the shirt grab trick alot....as a kid i played english style cause all my trainers were from england(thanks to sean and matt...sean is now the proud owner of a bar in new brunswick called the golden rail...great college bar and former employer of my deported shot girl)

but as i got into college and played with 85% latin players, i learned some good dives, yells and disgusting things some guys will do...here's one

when i was coaching at the county college we played an away game and as we were riding home, 1 kid was very upset and angered...when we stopped to eat, i went over to him and told him it was just 1 game and he said he wasn't pissed cause of that...he wouldn't tell me why he was but eventually did...

a latin player on the other team shoved his thumb up the kids ass during a corner kick....hahaha i'm so immature as you all know so imagine me trying to be adult in that situation...

i walked back to my table and told the other coach and he almost choked from laughing...i asked the kid why didn't he punch him in the face and he said he didn't want to get a red card....hahaha

I can't remember the thread Sig, but yeah, you guys were both against it. I'd just rather have the game called better than sticking with tradition.

I know i'm far from a purist, and it would probably hurt the game in some way, what do i know? I do know though that there would be less missed or bad calls.

Shit. I did get to see the replay yesterday without hearing the score. What a great pass from Adu to Altidore to open the scoring. But it was all down hill from there. If a USA kid breathed wrong he got a yellow card. And not even a minute after the US kid is sent off, our defense turns retarded and give Austria the winning goal.

didn't catch it but it seems like the refs had it out for us all tourny....that sux..but i like how adu showed up on the big stage..as did altidore and some other guys too...hopefully they get a shot with the big boys soon

You'll have to try to catch a replay of Austria's 2nd goal in extra time. Free kick, ball lands nicely to Bradley right in front of our net. His clearence attempt was kicking the ball 3 feet to the Austria dude and set him up 6 feet away from the net.
