didn't watch it either but i read about it and it seemed like a hotly contested match too...shocking for a game with really no importance

It seemed like they both wanted to get the win to send a message early on in the season or something. They really did seem to care. And the celebration afterwards was pretty big as well, not what I expected.

This weekends games on FSC to kick off the season...

Saturday
10am - West Ham vs. Manchester City
12pm - Aston Villa vs. Liverpool
2:30 - Derby vs. Portsmouth

Sunday
11am - Manchester United vs. Reading

** Overall, i'm really happy with the 4 games we are getting from Fox Soccer this weekend. I get both my top two teams back to back.

Nice one Jay.

Just keep in mind that the FSC schedule may get a little crowded when Serie A starts up. FSC got the exclusive rights to the Italian League so EPL games may not always be this good.

Nuts, Arsenal not on this weekend, not even down at the pub, booooooooooooooo!

Do you get the Setanta channel gunner? They have games every weekend too, but i have to pay like $13 a month if I want to get it, which i'm not doing since i'm switching companies.

Ugh, i really hope that Serie A crap doesn't mess with my EPL viewing too much. And i really can't get to into ANOTHER league at this point.

Yeah i noticed that. That blows for you... there are 8 games on tv this weekend (16 teams) and Arsenal happens to be one of the 2 games not being shown. I would have liked to see them vs. Fulham too, see if Dempsey plays.

I may take a look at a couple of games since I have a fantasy team now (hopefully I don't look like an idiot and this is the right league and players)

I get like 3 or 4 channels that always seem to have soccer on, weird.

hehe, you're fine, correct league.

Any EPL games we will see are only going to be on Fox Soccer Channel. Here's the schedule of tv games again. You'll have to see which players you have in these games...

Hmmm, HDnet shows some MLS games, i know that. Not sure which other ones... i could be wrong but i don't think they have a contract with the EPL.

You also have GOLtv which shows like the German leagues, and other weird leagues.

Then there are the Spanish channels, Univision and Telefutura you may get... they will show spanish and mexican leagues mostly.
