Kraft can't really be implicated in this though. While the average person can obviously tell they knew this was going on and turned a blind eye to it doesn't change the fact that his was a decision that Bill made and implemented...he's taking the majority of the heat for it and while it won't hurt him in the long run or short run (Kraft will pay his fine) it all falls on him as the responsible party. He's to smug to care what should or should not be done to save face. As far as he is concerned it happened its over and its now business as usual.

I wasn't implicating Kraft, but as the leader of the organization you do have a responsibility to your fans.

There are a lot of fans up here who really do care about this. A lot of school and kids coaches are struggling to explain this to their players. Not all of us up here are blind, obedient mice or sheep(believe it or not). There are those of us who don't think that David Ortiz shits mango ice cream or that Bill Belichick is Lombardi/Jesus all rolled into one man. Hell, there are even a couple of us who wouldn't vote for FatTeddy Kennedy if we had a gun to our heads.

I would like to see Kraft as was earlier suggested donate additional monies to charity(in the NY area or throught the league cities) and see Belichick required to go out into the kid's leagues to discuss the dynamics of coaching/sportmanship.

Bil, all that being true...then why hasn't the Organization come out and made statements to try to save face and why didn't they inform Bill to give a real apology and why did Bill's apology basically just say sorry to the team, fans and organization and nothing else. It just appears smug on all fronts.

It is good to hear that there are fans that do give to shits about this though even if those directly involved don't.

That sucks. They should lose whichever is the highest of the picks.

Oh well, here's hoping that the pats lose in the first round and that the niners lose to the Cowboys in the NFC Championship game.

I don't know the answer to that Beers. I would hope that Kraft is doing what he always seems to do which is gather all the available information and then take time to properly anaylze it and then formulate a proper response. Give it a little time and I think there will be more from that front.
