I guarantee you he got rid of all his guns because of prior offenses. Now he was stuck with only a knife. Sort of ironic.

Hell the person cut the phone lines before they went into the house. He obviously knew Taylor or someone was home. If all he wanted to do was steal stuff he could has simply avoided the bed room. The intruder was there for a greater purpose than to steal possessions. IMO of course.

Truely sad story...my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
I did hear too that he had lost too much blood by the time help arrived and was unconcious...a femoral artery injury is scary considering how much blood you can lose in a really short period of time. I did hear that he acknowledged a nurses request to squeeze her hand but that was the only sign of life or conciousness until the end.

wow...the story gets more intense..this was done on purpose no doubt...question is who and why..we need more evidence
i say since there was 2 shots and 1 missed and the other hit the leg it wasn't a professional...my conclusion then is, it was a woman who was sleeping with him that was mad he wouldn't a. leave his gf b. wouldn't pay her money for whatever reason
