I guess we'll see a slew of 35+ age players next year then, makes perfect sense.

And they have no fewer than 3 articles in the past 45 days declaring Harrison a near saint for "overcoming obsticles" What would that be? the fact that he cheats?

There is no doubt that most of the Boston media are a bunch of lapdogs. The Buckley article that is referred to is just pap written as filler to appease your average sports moron. Most of the Herald writers are the same with an ocassional exception or two like Felger. The Globe has better writers but they also spend a lot of time rooting instead of reporting. The obvious exception in that paper is Borges.

I don't take any of those fools any more serious there I take the idiots who declared Obama unstoppable because he won a few uncommited delgates in the Iowa caucus.

The commentators tonight loved to bring up that quote.

We do have quite a few older players.

And they out played a very prepared team tonight. I don't see them losing.

Excellent points, and I completely respect the fact that you can recognize the media rooting. I'm sure it happens a bit in all cities, it's just that I've noticed a lot of it lately in following the local Pats news.....

I also read a NY story in the post declaring that the way to stop the cowboys would be to re-injure Owens with jams at the line, and cut tackles whenever possible. Ok for a fan to spew, disgusting for a sports reporter to put in ink. No accountability, maybe I could take a few grammar lessons and write opinion pieces on my favorite teams as well.

Yea, throughout the Garard had a similar QB rating or even better at times.

They had prepared for, according to what I've heard, three weeks for that game. And next week we go to play Chargers. Kinda wish it was Indi, but oh well.

Chargers got pretty banged up today. I like the Pats chances and they should have an easier time of it than they did against the Jags.

It's understandable to like the Pats chances now, I mean just look at what the Herald is saying

Start booking those Super Bowl packages while airfare is less than $2,000, because the Patriots are going to Arizona.
The prevailing wisdom since November has been that only the Colts could give the Patriots a game. Now that they’re gone, there’s no one standing between the Pats and their fourth Super Bowl title in seven years.

see thats just your nature as mets fans (jealous and uninformed) because not all fans think we deserve to be anywhere....we(meaning the fans) have come to the point where we are used to seeing our team in the playoffs and expect nothing less than returning to that point...just like most fans would of the better teams in all the leagues would hope and expect...

i disagree...the chargers defense isn't banged up and they have played out of this world the past few weeks...they have the ability to potentially quiet down the pats offense....cromartie can cover moss 1 v 1 and drayton florence who was the starter is now the #3 cb...he can cover welker hopefully....and on the offensive side of the ball...they have a very capable backup qb and rb...turner is more than capable...he'll be a stud in the next few years on whatever team he signs with this off season...

they haven't lost in 9 weeks as well..pretty impressive..this game will be nothing like it was in week 2
