no way are you simplifying this into a vent because my boys lost. I saw that the Moss story hadn't yet been posted, and figured I'd work in the other nonsense we never hear about in the papers. I've not been a pats fan or follower ever, have hated on them for years now, and bitched about them probably a few times a week the entire season when Dallas was on an amazing run. Not just after they lost.

The pats are hypocritical scumfucks that have themselves on a moral pedastal the do not belong on. My 90's cowboys loved the blow and hookers, partied like fucking rock stars every night and showed up to play on sunday, but they never tried to be the class team of the league standing for freedom, justice, and the american way.

The best part is when the writer compares Pats fans to Yankee fans of the late 90s/early 2000s and he is right on the money. If there is one thing most people hate, it's a hypocrite and for Boston fans (as a whole, I'm sure there are several individual fans who are decent enough) who cried "woe is me" for decades before 2004 to act the way they do now is the HEIGHT of hypocrisy. The glut of national columnists from the Boston area isn't helping either. Add to that the usual swath of bandwagon fans and it is easy to see why the Pats are America's most hated.
