I'm afraid, terrified, of seeing what their new jersies are going to look like. I really hope they don't turn them into something horrible. If not, i'm waiting to get a new jersey until they come out and I see the prices on them.

Right now, i only have the 3rd jersey, the orange one.

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Mike Rathje said Monday he's not ready to hang up his skates and is still pushing for a comeback.

He recently had surgery for a sports hernia that he hopes will relieve the pain that caused him to miss all but three games last season.

His $3.5 million salary will count against the cap if he is able to return.

This would be HORRIBLE! We do not have the cap space to fit him in and he stinks. He will be a $3.5 mil a year paper weight who is always hurt. I do not want to have to trade Umberger and Gauthier just to get Rathje.

I THINK, that even if he wants to play, the Flyers can cut him. He will 100% chance clear waivers (no one would sign him to that money), and then he would become a $3.5mil a year Phantom. So it would cost the Flyers money, but not cap room. I think. And i HOPE.
