Awesome job by Briere and his hat trick wednesday night. Flyers beat 1st place Carolina 6-3.

And today, 1pm eastern - Crapitals @ Philly. Looks like I'm stuck following this over the damn boxscores today seeing that i'm stuck at work. For whatever reason, we are starting Biron today and Nitty tomorrow vs. Ottawa.

Ah, good point. But i don't care if you are in net today, they can not lose to the free falling Caps. At least todays game will give me something to do to avoid work this afternoon. I'll have to see if i can even get a radio feed.

It's a really weird league with small starting rosters and lots of good players still on waivers My centers are Briere, Richards,Eric Staal,Marc Savard,and somebody dropped Olie Jokinen early on and I picked him up. I really need to get rid of one of them because I can only start two. That day I started Staal and Richards.

Somoene dropped Jokinen? How many people are in this league? Yeah you should probably try to trade one or two of those centers... Briere, Staal, Jokenin should be all that you need. I hope you are near the top.

2nd place. I'm a little weak in net though.You can only start 1 goalie a day and that has hurt me. I've got the Sharks goalie which has been good lately and then Cam Ward who
has already killed me this week. I could pick up Bryzgalov. Who do you think I should drop?Mike Richards or Marc Savard?

One goalie a day? Thats horrible. In case you don't have it, use this to know which goalies are likely to start that night...

That way you won't get screwed by a team playing their back-up. Does your league do many trades? Can you try to trade Savard or Richards? I guess it depends on what you need more, goals or assists. Savard will get more assists obviously and Richards is the better scorer.

I've got a goalie problem in the Rant league... its called they suck. Of course Leclaire has given up 9 in his last two games... i need to dump him soon i believe.

They don't do any trading.Plus there's too much talent on waivers you can pick up.
I'm just OK in the Rant league.Kipper and Ward have been inconsistant.Giggy has been OK.

Hockey informer is good too... i like to look at both of them to get two opinions. Wait, they still have the 3 game minimum but only let you start one a night. Pathetic! If there's lots of talent on waivers, it may be worth it to dump a center to get stronger in net. If it doesn't work out, you should be able to get a guy close to Savard level later on.
