he was making a play to stop the puck..a little different than everyone just getting on there knees to avoid being hit in the offensive zone..it was cheap and stupid and he deserves death for it

different, yes... but the same general concept. Don't put yourself in volunerable positions if you don't want to get hit. Its really, really simple. Its the same thing as skating with your head down and you getting a concussion. Its your own stupid fault. This is no different.

Of course not... i'm mostly talking about the two Bruins players. Turning your face towards the boards before you are going to get hit, or going down to your knees at center ice are 100% avoidable.
