Colorado signs UFA forward Darcy Tucker to a 2 year deal worth $4.5-million

So far the contracts aren't much more than previous years. BUT, the talk of Sundin getting $10mil a year and Hossa getting $8.5 and Campbell getting over $8mil is where it could get out of hand.

Tampa Bay signs UFA goaltender Olaf Kolzig to a 1 year deal worth $1.5-million (plus bonuses).

Its not NHL free agency time.... its Tampa Bay free agency time. I can't wait to see their cap numbers when this is done. They have to get rid of someone right?

The big ones that are yet to come are what I am interested to see (contracts I mean), and those will just drive up mid level guys in return which sucks...I just don't want to see the NHL get nuts with their contracts again just hurts the teams and fans and winning chances.
