The team that got us as far as it did last year will look nothing like the team on the ice next year and we'll only be younger...how that all works out, no one knows.

What do u mean? On the top 3 lines we lost 1 player, Umberger, replaced by Giroux, who will be better than 13 goals. Not counting Prospal, he was a rental and he's replaced by Gagne. On the 4th we replaced Dowd with a better player in Metropolit. RW (Sami) will need to be replaced (by Downie).

On defense, we lost Smith and Modry... addition by subtraction.

I count 5 total new players, 2 of which on the 4th line. This is as close to the same team as any team could get.

Gagne-Briere-Lupul
Hartnell-Richards-Knuble
Upshall-Carter-Giroux
Cote-Metropolit-Downie

*or some combo of those top 3 lines.

The other major Sean Avery news, as reported by Gawker, is that he compliments female fashion writers by telling them they will be fodder for his masturbation sessions, and then sending play-by-play of said sessions through text messages. Please tell us this isn't why Avery has found a way to spend over one thousand minutes in the penalty box.
