Lester goes into the 8th as Tampa Bays' Fenway losing streak continues. Interesting that neither team has won on the other teams field this year.

Bay hit a HR as the Sox continue on their best run of the year which ironically began when Manny "the Prince of Me, Myself & I" left for the West Coast. It is noted here that his leadership had led LA to basically a .500 record and the lead in the NL Worst.

Varitek has begun to hit a bit.

The Ellsbury/Crisp platoon continues to pay off.

Pedroia is having the best offensive season ever for a Red Sox 2nd baseman.

Youkilis though recently hurt is looking a a possible gold glove.

Jed Lowrie has taken the SS spot from Lugo.

Ortiz is hitting for average but not power. His wrist hurts but he is going to tough it out.

Matsuzaka against Kazmir tonite.

I'm hoping the Rays put up a fight and make this home and home series exciting.

So this is a pretty great feeling, the SAWX on the brink of elimination to a team that they didn't respect and called scared. Hilarious.

Ortiz looks awful
Ellsbury can't hit
Varitek is an albatross
The pitching is terrible

Overall the team is playing very feebly and if we're lucky, TB will get to celebrate in that shithole eyesore on Yawkey Way.

How does everyone else feel about this?

I've always liked the Red Sox but as a former Tampa resident I love it. They are the better team and I think they are better suited to beating the Phillies.

Ugh, those fuckers had to go and pull that comeback out of their ass. The SAWX are like a movie villain that just won't die even though everyone wants them too. And judging by the crowd shots it seems every ugly mongoloid in the north east is a SAWX fan and was at that game.

Just a total meltdown by the Rays bullpen. Let's hope that they can get their shit together in time for game 6.

Yuck.I hope this isn't yet another miracle Sox comeback series win and just the Rays wanting to win the series at home thing.

I know. I don't think I could handle another ESPN blow job train on the SAWX if they manage to come back. Why couldn't that fire on the Citgo sign have taken Fenway Park with it?

EDIT: Seriously, look at these fucking douchebags. How can anyone like this?

I was half watching/half sleeping when it was 5-0. I saw the Rays add too more, said, we'll this is over. Woke up and they won... couldn't even believe it.

I'm just hoping this goes to game 7 and goes 21 innings.

At this point I will be surprised if it doesn't go seven games.

The question now, as the media knights are already asking is; will a longer layoff benefit or hurt the Phillies?
