Yeah he blows this year, no control of his pitches, lost some velocity on his fastball and hangs balls right out over the zone (which is why he leads the majors in giving up homers)...confidence took a nosedive early on as well and hasn't come back.
I heard about this yesterday, would love to see him pitch, I guess their gonna bring up Happ, or at least they talked about it. (I didn't read the article) Good game last night for the phils to take a win from the 2nd place braves. Another really nice outing for Kendrick, he's been really good over his past 10 or so games which is good news considering the rest of the starters (save Hamels). Last night's game could have been a blow out, 2 straight innings they left the bases loaded and on the 3rd straight bases loaded inning finally capitalized with some runs, they left a LOT of guys on base last night but at least we're getting back to the Phils offensive production. |
