our backup FS i think wants money for the level 8 upgrade..i asked if he'd be interested in hanging around for another year..just a little management talk

I'd vote that you do it... IF he agrees to sign an extended contract of like two years right now. That way we know he won't be going anywhere with our money. And if he leaves after that, I have a FS that I can always add to the team later if needed.

Then you need to address that for any and all guys to get the equipment I think.

I think us Ranters have to make some sacrafices that others may not have to. We need to keep these guys around or we will never get better. And we are paying a lot less than many other teams. My DT who is a level 6, just got a $15K signing bonus from another team.

Wait, so by your logic, the ranters should sacrifice their guys getting better and helping the team by not getting money to buy equipment as we level but other douches that are literally here to level up and get better and then bounce should get more incentives and money? By the time these guys can actually contribute to the team at a level needed they will not be on this team, these guys should be on CPU teams as it is and in low level leagues leveling up, not here.

We are going to need back-ups, our starters can't play the whole game every game. So either Ranters have to make more players or we are going to have to pay the other guys on the team. They aren't going to be as willing as we are to take little money in the begining. Thats why I suggested locking them up for multiple years, that way they can't go anywhere. And then, by that time, we should have more money to pay them more.

We are all going to stay, but if other teams are going to offer the other guys more, they are going to walk, and we will suck forever. So yeah, the Ranters will have to sacrafice in the begining if we ever want to be good.

But their low levels aren't helping the team and they will never get to a helpful level before they are gone unless we try to lock them up for like 5 or more seasons...I just don't get why we'd pay bonus money to help them get better and not the guys that will stick around, signing them to a longer term is fine but we can't just try t
