Man our D line just really sucks at stopping the run we should look to address this either with run stuffing DT's and DE's or balanced or something, seems like most run plays are all tackles made by the LB's or worse the secondary.

Holy shit, i was thinking the exact same thing while "watching" the game (i went home, feel like ass). Every running play gets to our linebackers. I really think its just that the other teams o-line out levels our D-line by so much. But not totally sure. Like this last team, they had two 24 guards coving our two 14 and 18 tackles.

FINALLY! A td from my QB. Other than that late INT, he had a really good game. We are getting there boys... getting closer.

Yeah its hard to tell with the levels being so skewed (their O line vs our D line) but it sort of seems (from a quick glance) that our D line is built for speed and pass rushing, so even if it is just lvl differences right now, that could come back to bite us later if we don't address it, just a thought.

And congrats to Blanda for the TD as well!

Brown caught the TD. He had 8 catches, for 59 yards and a TD.

JaIrish had 5 for 52.

Total yards was only 331 to 227.

Beers, i see what you are saying... looks like 3 of our D-linemen are set up as pass rushers. Maybe you can make your DT focus on stopping the run since he doesn't have any special abilities yet? Just a thought.

I can certainly focus more on stopping the run if we want, I planned to make him balanced and try to make him strong in both, I guess I could make him still somewhat balanced but stronger on run stuffing?

Also, would it be a good idea to force the starters in the redzone for all quarters on D (prolly O as well), there is a chance we could have held this play (just an example) to a FG instead of a TD, nothing against Willis (he's in the example as the missed tackle but wasn't the only fault), he's just out matched by their levels and ideally we'd want the levels as close as possible in the redzone, just a thought no crucification necessary.

2nd & 1.5 OPP 4.5 Dale Elison rush [missed tackle: Nick Willis] to the right (5.5 yd gain), PAT made by Ian Montgomery [TD]

Thanks for the congrats... maybe he will be decent?

Do whatever you think is best, probably making him balanced would be good, but focusing on the run is what we would need i would think. See thats the stuff I don't know about, i have not looked at tactics near enough yet. I didn't even know you can do that. Sounds like a solid idea to me.

I'm texting with Nick at the moment, trying to get some of these contracts figured out. "Gloves Tanner's" contract runs out tomorrow, and he's our 4th WR, we are going to need him... i think he's a friend of Nick, trying to find out now. I'm waiting for decisions from Ron Soto and Nut Cracka... Soto is gone at this point... anyone know either of these two?

Our KR/RB Jackiewicz rejected a pretty nice offer, so i'm guessing he's not planing on staying here. We have no back-up QB as of right now... with no injuries, i see no reason to pay for one until we have too... thoughts Beers and Stinks? My QB's stamina should be good enough for a full game, especially after i level him up.
