Matt Leinart is making a big mistake!
You have to be honest here, What happens to Leinart if he gets hurt during his senior season. Sure he wants to play for USC again, but he is making a foolish mistake by not entering the draft.
To be honest I think he saw who was going to get the top draft pick, the 49ers, and did not want to play for them so I think that was a major part of his decision |

he could of pulled an ELI but he has class. Plus the fact there is no highly coveted player like ELI was the 49ers wouldn't get much in return for the #1 pick. So what if he gets hurt, maybe this guy isn't about the money. obviously he isn't.

It doesn't matter who gets the first pick, the team is probably gonna suck, barring a trade.
SF will probably have the first pick in the draft next year, too. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised to see SF trade out of the first pick this year, to drop down a few spots and select a RB like Benson, Williams or Brown. Then, next year, pick up their QB. Or, pick someone like Charlie Frye with their second round pick this year. |

true. #1 pick won't change a team in one season
