Big XII/SEC Poll
This is a five part question. If your answer isn't an available option, feel free to express your answers in post form Here are the questions:
1. Is the SEC a one-team conference? That one team being Kentucky for those who may not know. 2. Do you consider the SEC a top basketball conference? 3. Has the Big XII (not XXII) passed the SEC in terms of basketball conferences? 4. Do you see the SEC improving and eventually going back ahead of the Big XII (remaining ahead of the Big XII if that is your opinion)? 5. Is UKTopher23 an inbred redneck? BigXII has been better the last 2 years(including this year), but overall the BigXII hasnt been around long enough to sit at the head of table. Oh, and BTW "." = "yeah baby, its 6 inches" in Kansas |

NO, The SEC will be better next season, but the Big 12 is gonna be stacked too, Texas is young, and will be good, KU should be good again, OSU is bringing in the number 1 recruiting class in the nation next year to joing Jameson, but they will be young next year, OU ought to be about like this year, and Tech has some good young talent. A&M is up an coming..... 5. Is UKTopher23 an inbred redneck? nah........... |

pretty much the same answers, except I guess I got a bit defensive on #4, the Big XII has passed the SEC in recent years, but the SEC has been a great conference every pretty consistently. But I guess we'll see. OkSt will stay good as long as goooood players keep gettin kicked out of better schools so Eddie can scoop em up. Personally, I think once OK loses the "white boy", its over for a couple years for them, unless Taj gets 2x better this offseason. Isnt Bookout a senior next year?

Technically, no Big XII team has ever won a national title in men's basketball.
Kansas defeated Oklahoma, 83-79, for the 1988 NCAA championship, but that was back when the conference was still the Big 8. The Big XII as we know it was formed six years later, on February 25, 1994. Kansas is one of only two current Big XII schools to have ever won a national championship in men's basketball. The Jayhawks won in 1988, as well as in 1952. Oklahoma State is the only other school to have won a national title, winning back-to-back championships in the 1945 and 1946 title games. |
