Who is your team going to be ranked a head of at the end of next year?
Ok time to start the speculation.
My team is the Iowa Hawkeyes. In pre-season polls I believe they might be over ranked with the lack of a proven defense. That being said I believe that the defense will step up just like the offense did last year and the defense the year before that. I can see a 10 win season and another top ten finish, I can also see an 7 win season and a top 25 finish. I am going to be optimistic and go with the top ten finish big names they get ahead of Nebraska - Sorry Huckers give Callahan 2 or 3 more years LSU - No Saban No top 10 Michigan - Freshman starts hit the Sophomore slump Wisconsin - Might be the Big 10 co-champs USCaro - Give Spurrier a few (even if I dislike him) Notre Dame - Charlie can't be that good Teams that might be in trouble USC - No Chow?? How good was he? Oklahoma - Stoops days of not being in the NFL are numbered OSU - More NCAA probes to come Utah - Urban Meyers and Alex Smith leave |

Seven wins won't be good enough to finish in the Top 25.

I can see 10 wins with that schedule. You'll probably beat OSU.
You guys had a great recruiting year this year. Ferentz is doing an outstanding job. If Iowa doesn't win 10 next year, I would be very surprised. |

No way Iowa comes into Columbus and beats Ohio State next year. The Buckeyes are not going to forget how badly they got beat in Iowa last season. The linebackers are going to be ready for Tate and he's going to get hit...a lot.
I think Iowa will finish second in the Big Ten, ahead of Michigan and behind Ohio State. |

I just had to rag on you jtg. Iowa would not get that kind of respect. Florida really didn't deserve it this year.
It is hard going anywhere in the Big 10 and saying that will be an easy W even Illinios will give you a fit on any given weekend. Tate will be a lot better next year I am guessing. The linebackers better be spying on him all game long. Last edited by Jackrabbit 49er; February 12th, 2005 at 02:46 AM. |

If the tOSU linebackers can take care of Vince Young two weeks earlier, I won't be worried about Drew Tate.
