The Dolphins reached an agreement with former Giants and Raiders safety Gibril Wilson on Thursday. Terms of the deal weren't available, but according to a source, he agreed to a five-year deal.

No, but he was very good for us last season. Plus they cleared room by making other cuts... its not like his salary was THAT bad.

I'm reading that the Raiders asked him to restructure, he said no... so Davis gave him the boot. Overpaid or not, we needed him and the salary cap is going up this season (reportedly).

The Raiders cut him (since he was under contract) so he could sign with anyone...free agents don't become free agents till 12:01 am.
