I emailed Bill and wanted to know what happened to him since my lack of presence has caused some issues here.

Here is what Bill had to say:

It was a series of fortunate and unfortunate events.

Fortunate:

I got hired to (ghost)write for a very interesting idiot who is incapable of spelling his own name. Good money, lots of work. I expect to finish in late May or early June.

Did a little travelling in late Jan thru mid Feb with some old friends from the the military. We spent some time in southeast Asia.

Unfortunate:

My home computer died. I will be picking up a new I-Mac in the next few weeks. I have been forced to squeeze a lot of the writing in here at the Y during the day and have been staying late at night to do the bulk of it.

One of Y pencil pushers decided that this was the year to put filters/blocks on our systems. SportsRant is listed in the "Adult content/mature theme" category. I have been speaking to those both the COO and CEO about this and may be making some headway.

No matter, one I get the new I-Mac I'll be back. Give all my regards.

Awesome! I somehow managed to miss this thread before.

The Shanty is in Salem. Mapquest says they are only about a half hour away from each other. You should go!
