Social Responsibility
Competition. It is the essence of sport. It is the fuel that makes the sport engine go. I, for one, love it. It is what makes me better both in sports and in life, and I relish the chance to compete. With that being said, here goes.
Is it just me or do all athletes sound the same nowadays.... Full Article |

This isn't a bad article, but its hard to see what you are trying to say. You start talking about competition, then make a bunch of generalizations about athletes being the same, and then you start talking about Kill Bill. You gotta have some sort of focus.
A few things I had a problem with Shaq didn't screw up the lakers, Kobe ran him. Many athletes make great contributions to society and to their communities, they just don't always get noticed. Kobe had never been a good teammate, he didnt ruin it in just one night. There are still some athletes who are good talkers and give honest answers. A great case is an athlete I talked to last week, Washington's Nate Robinson. GREAT INTERVIEW. Also, "America has decided not to condone athletes who do not honor their social responsibility. Amen" is just blatantly false. People love Michael Jordan, yet make no qualms about his infidelity and gambling problem. Good idea, just not true at all |

Thanks for the honest feedback, Mark. It will definitely help me to become a better writer.
I think you gotta go 50/50 w/Shaq & Kobe...Shaq showed up overweight & out of shape after the Lakers got the threepeat...now he's pumped up because people counted him out. |

It's Kobe's team, which is why Shaq was traded and not the other way around. Kobe has ran Phil, he ran Shaq, and he ran Malone. I mean, can it really always be someone else? He's starting to develop a pattern.
I agree with the shaq stuff, he's definitely playing with a chip on his shoulder now and he shouldve stayed on his game in LA |
