Who agrees with me that the Suns are going to go all the way this year...sure the team that they beat was the worst team to make the playoffs butI still think they have a chance. Nash will lead them to victory.

That was an amaxing series and i think that a lot of teams are going to underestimate this team. This is the first 4 team sweep in Sun's history!

Maybe tap the breaks on going all the way SunsFan. Dallas will have plenty to say about that. I'll agree with Mike in that the suns are underestimated, but they've got a few years yet before they are contenders. Give me Dallas in 6.

Clearly you are not feeling well Mike. The Mavericks just handed the rockets their arse in game 7. What, pray tell, in that game leads you to believe that they are running out of gas? Yes I'm fully aware that the suns have been resting thier collective heels after dispatching of memphis, but they have zero depth. Look for the benches to be a HUGE factor in this series.
Oh, and Lord help them if Dirk actually starts to play like Dirk. I don't see a sweep by any stretch, but like I said, Mavs in 6. |

I'm watching game 1 right now, and the Mavs aren't even in the game. Down 23 in 3rd qtr. Suns are going straight through Dallas in this series, no question. Maybe not a sweep, but Dallas is going to pay for letting Nash go.
Suns in 5. |

You see....the Mavs....no i dont think so sure they handed the Rockets Their arse in game 7 but see....that was "GAME 7" not games 1 through 6 they barely won the series!!
See i predict that the Suns will Sweep them or go to game 5. ![]() |

Game Two will tell everything, IMO. The Suns could have been severely flat and lost Game One or, as obviously happened, the Mavs could have been spent from a tough seven game serious and come in flat. But it's just Game One. One game.
Does anyone here remember when the Celtics blew out the Lakers in Game One of the championship back in 85 or whatever? The Lakers came back to win in six. Hey, it may be a long time ago but it is a precedent. And no, I'm not in any way comparing the Mavs to the Lakers so don't go off on that! We'll all be back tomorrow talking about tonight's game. If the Mavs win, it's a whole new series. |

So, now do you see that the margin of victory in the first game of a series means absolutely nothing?

its the playoffs...the best team generally always wins in a 7 game series.
just cause a team looks like shit a few games doens't mean anything if they win the series. |
