First things first, I have always been and will always be a San Francisco Giants fan. I used to watch the games at Candlestick Park by myself when I was only 7 by taking the bus out and buying my own ticket. This was the only reason that I backed Bonds. I know that he is a complete ass without a doubt.
The things that he is doing now are unbelievable. He continues to train with his steroid buddy, Greg Anderson. He uses his own doctors, who himself is under investigation. He basically tells the Giants that it is not any of their business what he can and cannot do or can and cannot see. I back the Giants as a team and with all these latest problems that Bonds has encountered and caused. I would actually like to see him removed from the Giants. Don't get me wrong, I still think that he could come back this season and help the Giants, but I don't really want him too. Barry Bonds is a punk and if baseball finds anything with their investigation of his activities then by all means i hope that he suffers the consequences. the reason Bonds is in the logo is that he was apart of it from the start. Actually I am thinking of removing from all together, but i need something to replace him with! If i dont correct that then there will be a blank area up at the top there

Glad to hear it. I will now remove all "Barry Bonds Sucks" lines from future Powerpoint presentations... although whatever will I do now to antaganize?
As for the replacement... Shaq would be too obvious Kobe would be in bad taste Shawn Bradley would be funny T-Mac dunking on Bradley would be funnier If you are going to stay with Baseball, then use Griffey. His swing is still the most recognizable. |

How 'bout Vlad Guerrero? Or Garrett Anderson?
Maybe the Rant can be the forerunner to destroying the east coast bias! |

Vlad would be a good choice.... But my vote would be for Albert Pujols (the FUTURE of MLB). |

If you're gonna hurl, aim in the direction of New York.
The ONLY reason that the target market is on the left side of the country is because of the time zones. The 02 WS was one of the lowest rated Series' of all time...and that was with the supposed best player in the game, Bonds. If anyone says that there is no such thing as a bias then you either live on the east coast or are completely ignorant. I was half kidding about the east coast thing and SportsRant...the fact that Bonds plays in SF was not lost on me. |

Well 1st, no one likes Bonds. People will really not tune in to watch him unless he is going for some sort of record. (I mean in the near future, like the game they are watching could be the record breaker)
2nd, i agree that there is an east coast bias, as well their should be. Like I said in my last post you have to promote where the people are. The largest fan bases are in the east, that is why major sports will always focus there. You would do the same thing if you ran major sports networks. And I know you were only half kidding, it just makes me laugh to hear people cry about it ALL the time. |

I am not sure who I will replace Bonds with, If anyone, I may just leave it blank or find a generic baseball player and football player to add in there

I would vote for a NHL Hockey player up there, but since the league won't be back
until the 2006-07 season,it wouldn't be prudent at this juncture. |

How 'bout a weekly trivia game and the member with the highest score gets to choose who they want up top for the week? |

How about every member votes for the professional athlete they want to see on the banner, via email. No ballot, no holds barred. I can email mike every five minutes for a month with a picture of Joe Sakic. I'll put it in my PDA.
