Flagrant?!?

From nba.c0m:
"A flagrant foul-penalty (1) is unnecessary contact committed by a player against an opponent."

Forget unnecessary, where was the contact? Stackhouse looked to have had a clean block. I truly hope that the guy is o.k. and all, but really, a flagrant?

Other than that, things are looking pretty good. Mavs in 6.

That was a bogus call....the refs are really calling this game pretty tight. But it sure is nice to see Amare in a bit of foul trouble!

JJ to miss game 3 maybe more. That's a pretty big loss for the suns.

Johnson did it to himself. Sure i feel bad for him that he has a displaced bone in his face. But he was blocked and wanted to try to draw the foul so he went down. However he went down the wrong way and held on to the rim too long. Just shows (AGAIN) that many times the officals go by the result of the incident rather than the actual cause.

I hope the ref looked at that replay and feels stupid.

it was the right call at the time...but the NBA did say after the replays it shouldn't have been called. but the refs do need to control the games so they called it;

The right call at the time?!? What does that mean? How can it be a flagrant at the time and then not a flagrant a day later? What does making a horrible call have to do with controling the game?

Way off base on this one.

He usually is Nick, he usually is. Stick around and you will notice that most (if not all) of his talking comes from what he sits on.
