1st goal accomplished
One critical road win.
Had the Mavericks lost Game 2 it would have been a back breaker. After leading by 15 in the 1st half and then losing it early in the 3rd, losing Game 2 would have taken all of the air out of their sails. I mean how do they get up for Game 3 after that? Thankfully, they won't have to answer that question. Now it's back to Dallas with the home court advantage (and yes, I think it helps). Everyone played really well in Game 2 with the exception of Stackhouse and Dirk. After calling out Dampier Monday night, Dirk really needed to back it up. He did not. I know that hit what would turn out to be the game winner, but he has to pick up his game in a hurry. The longer this series goes on, the more it favors the Mavs. The suns bench is so shallow and now that Joe Johnson is hurt (I hope not seriously), it is that much more empty. I may have said this before but... Mavs in 6. |

JJ to miss game 3 maybe more. That's a pretty big loss for the suns.
