Last week’s NASCAR column proved to be very popular with some and very upsetting to another contingent. I got about three times the amount of email I get on an average week, so I thought a mailbag column would help clear up some confusion....

If NASCAR is a sport, then so is paintball. If you want to go that route, that’s fine by me, but I draw the line somewhere.

I must say though, that paintball is more of a sport than that of NASCAR for the sole reason that we actually run.

You get that much mail? And respond to each and every one?

I got around 100 about the nascar article and responded to each and every one.

Paintball does look to be fun, I want to do it sometime

In that case,the Boston Marathon, for example, is more of a sport than football,baseball,hockey,or basketball.

I didn't say that Im just saying in light of the comment and the statement of physicality and sorts.
