SuperBowl Halftime

What's everyone's take on The Who's performance? Personally, I thought it was one of the best halftime shows in years. I am not the biggest Who fan, but I found the stage show to be simply awesome. Loved the circle around the stage! I know that they didn't hit all the notes, but hey, live shows will do that to you (not to mention being 65).

Anyway, I know that they are taking a beating on the radio this morning, just looking for your thoughts.

I've never been a big fan of the Who and have no use at all for Mr. Townsend so I did not bother to watch.

As far as Super Bowl shows go, it was OK.
Not a real big Who fan either except for one song " Love Reign O'er me" which is great.

I thought it sucked. The Who are washed up and looked like a bunch of old farts up there lip singing

Yeah, but what superbowl show is any different. Old Aerosmith,old Springstein.
It's never that good.

watched part of it...was ok...made a joke about topless men and how it would ruin old bands from playing superbowl halftime shows...it bombed

Awful...simply awful...light effects were the only ok thing about it...barely watched it even but what I did...awful.

I kind of enjoyed it actually. Never been a big Who fan, but I liked the songs they did. Sure the singing was pretty terrible... but the whole thing was fun.

Agree Jay. And again,it's the Superbpwl halftime show. I didn't go in with high expectations.

The super bowl half time show should have huge expectations and it should be a big deal that puts greatness out there...annually basically the highest rated show on TV in terms of viewership...with those viewers you want a great show...sadly this was an epic fail.

I thought Tom Petty did alright a few years ago, but I don't remember any other decent ones in recent history.
