Let's Get Ready To Rumble!!!!!!

Ok, we have an 8 man tournament to decide who will be the first Point/Counterpoint Champion!!!!!! The field is based from people who posted that wanted to participate as well as a couple of my email based readers. They will most likely join the site also. Here is the tournament field.

Mark C vs BtownJay
Nick in Dallas vs Kevin H.
Dmon3K vs SSigman
Murphy's Law vs Dave M.

If you are one of the eight participants and do not wish to compete please let me know ASAP!!!!!!!! Either PM me or just post in this thread. I will be PMing all of you with a simple survey, and I will need these filled out by 8pm EST on Thursday, or I will have to disqualify you. There are no exceptions!!!

Remember, all of these matches are ranked. A loser of a first round match may have a higher ranking than a winner from a second round loss.

The judges will be myself, KP & Point Man. We will also be the initial "voters" who will determine the rankings. We will have additional judges & voters as time goes on.

We have 7 out of 8 surveys finished, and the first match is currently underway pitting Mark C. against BtownJay--their topic is related to baseball...

Anybody have any predictions as to who is going to win?????

The other matches will begin shortly and if you are participating, please keep close watch to your email.

Hmm, I haven't received mine yet. Did you remember the underscore in "Point_Man"?

Before one word has been typed, it is easy to suggest this competition contains 6 professionals, and 2 amateurs. Keeping in mind that anything can happen, I say Mark C is the man to beat.
