Huskers Land Two Big Time Recruits
Well even before the 2005 collegiate football season starts, the Huskers have come up with commitments from two high caliber recruits, one from Grandview,Mo. and the other from San Diego.
From Grandview,Mo. comes Josh Freeman, a 6'6" 226 pound QB who is rated in the rivals top 100 players in the country and was being recruited by the likes of Oklahoma,KSU,Notre Dame and others. As part of a package deal, the Huskers also got a commitment from one of the top and highly recruited wr's in the country,M.Holt a 6'2" 212 pound wr from out of St Augustine high school in San Diego. He and Freeman met at one of the high school all-american camps and became fast friends and made a pact to attend the same college and play their coolegiate careers together,as they hooked on many passing drills during various instructional camps over the past year or so. So once again under B. Callahan's guidance, the Huskers are off to another great recruiting period for the 2006 recruiting class.Go Big Red. |

Under wayword Bill's blow jobs, the huskers got 2 more mediocure football players.
Look at their starting QB now, he's from Norman, OK and OU passed on him.. LMFAO. I've told you before these commitments don't mean squat until they perform on the field!! What was the shuckers overall recruiting rating last year?? 8 or 9?? I believe OU's was higher, but it don't mean shit till they get on the field!!!! |

Raider, I follow recruiting pretty closely, and Menelik Holt is certainly not one of the top WR's in the country. If fact, he may not be top five in California alone.
Holt has gotten some recruiting attention, but Nebraska is his only high D-1 offer. Well, if you do consider Utah to be high D-1, okay. But "beating" out Utah and San Diego State is not saying much. |
