Major Trim Down In The Forums

Some of you will notice major changes to the forums over the next few days. I did this due to inactivity in the individual team forums. Some of you have expressed this to me over the past few months and I thought that it was time to make this move

I think that this will make it easier to post about certain sports and without having to navigate into deeper team forums, it makes it much easier to find topics. There were too many forums on this page that were not being used at all and general discussions are more lilkely under the current format

If anyone finds this annoying, i apologize now, i just feel that from feedback it was a necessary move

Thoughts?

I'm ok with it as long as you remove the San Francisco Giants & Anaheim Angels board. Thanks!!

So,then,that means you are giving up on growing these boards? Sure,there was inactivity because before the new appearance to the site and all the new writers, hardly anyone was posting here. Now,things are just starting to pick up,and you want to get rid of the team forums.It's probably too late,but I disagree with the move.I would hope that in the near future there will be many more posters here using the team forums.If your goal is just to have a small amount of posters,then it's a good move to get rid of them.

No that is not the goal at all man. I will bring them back when the time is right. turning off forums or adding team pages is too easy. That was not my plan at all. Once we get more and more people here, it will be easier to add them back

Ok, Mike...I realized I was singling out the Giants unfairly....ok, how about just getting rid of the MLB teams who are below .500.

I will bring them back when the time is right. turning off forums or adding team pages is too easy. That was not my plan at all.
