The July 2005 Point/Counterpoint Challenge Thread!!!!
Please post here if you want to participate in Point/Counterpoint in July.
After the championship round, there will be weekly competitions held so that you can increase your ranking level!! The champion has to defend his/her title no more or less than twice per month. Once he/she has met that quota, they do not have to battle any more. All other contestants do not have a minimum, but since rankings include the # of bouts, it is advantageous to participate more frequently!! |

Can one of the topics be, "Why will the Angels win the World Series this year: Pitching or Hitting?"
One contestant can choose pitching for the reason the Angels WILL in the WS, the other can choose hitting. Or, how 'bout this topic: "Why are the Angels better than than the Dodgers: Red is better than blue; or, it's better to be an angel than a dodger" Good suggestions, huh? |

How about - "Why are the Angels fans delusional?" Choice one "because they think their team is going to win it all", choice two "because they think their team is going to win it all". Obviously everyone knows the Phillies are going to win the Series. (yeah, i know i picked the Marlins, but the Phils are my team) |
