It was sarcastic, Btown...there's also talk of letting Finley go to save luxury tax payments under the new CBA. Bradley is no big deal...Finely is a huge fan favorite even if he has been declining some in the last three years.

They need to save the money and he's past the prime really....he is a good guy and well liked but I think the fans will get past it....besides he should be ok with it they will cut him and he'll still get paid a ton by them and not count against the cap and still play somewhere else where the fans can love him.....not a bad spot to be in

Aside from maybe Manute Bol and Mark Eaton,he was the most useless 7'5" player to have ever played in the NBA.

Actually, Mark Eaton had some value. He was a much more consistent defensive presence and shot blocker. Bradley would have one good game, get a case of big head, and then disapper for six games or so.
As for Finley, even if they cut him, under this new rule, he will still count against the cap. Cuban only saves on the luxury tax. |
