Bonds is just in the zone, the guy has developed a home run swing, with tons of power.

Dude can hit, but who wants to chance it with the game on the line?
It's about winning, not letting someone get a record. I hate it when people say its not baseball to pitch around Bonds or anyone else that could cost you the game. If its so wrong why do so many teams do it? Now, if you do it in the first inning with the bases empty, okay. I would agree with you. But with tying or winning runs on base? So what? I go to see my team win, not watch an opposing player hit home runs. |

teams will pitch to him early on, but if he continues to hit well, expect the walks to be racked up once again.

it won't be that long. each hr = post = 55 at most, unless giants are out of contention come late July.
