All the pieces are falling into place for the Cavaliers.
With this week’s signings of Zydrunas Ilgauskas and restricted free agent Larry Hughes to five-year deals, the Cavs are poised to make their next move. The Cavs, armed with the most salary-cap space in the NBA this summer, still have... Full Article |

First off welcome Ryan to the Rant, Your article was good.
Are you making some sort of bold statement here that the Cavs are poised to make a move to improve their team (clearly that is what I am reading) or are you making the statement that they are poised to make a run at the NBA title. I do see, in the near future, a ring on LJ's hand. I do not see that happening next season. Even with the signings that they made, those players have yet to play together. James is a one man show and I am convinced that he is the next Jordan, but if Shaq would end up in Cleveland, that would make me change my mind... I do see improvement, so much so that i do not think they will fall apart like they did at the end of the season Again, great article, welcome and we all hope to read more from you |

Well, so much for Cleveland's hopes of signing Haslem. He took about a $10 million pay cut to sign a five-year, $34 million deal with Miami today.
