Am I crazy?

I`m in a 10 team,2person keeper.I won it all last year so I`m picking last.10th and 11th.

I`m thinking I`m gonna keep R.Moss and Holt. my first 2 picks last year as this is our first year with keepers.
We play QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,TE,K,D no extra points for receptions.
I`ll be throwing these guys back in
Farve
Lamont jordan
Curits martin
Staley, Duce
Droughns, Reuben

With bell,Julius Jones, williams as free agents and the other teams throwing back in do you think I`ll be ok at RB?

You may want to keep a RB (Martin or Jordan) because you could be screwed by the time you get to draft. Thats a tough spot to be in. You don't have any stud fantasy backs, unless Martin can do what he did last year. Okay, my opinion is you have two options...

1. Keep Moss and Holt and draft RB's at 10 and 11
2. Keep Moss or Holt and Curtis Martin and draft a RB and a WR at 10 and 11.

With so many teams using the RB-by-committe style, I would be inclined to keep one RB. Do you get to find out which backs are being dumped by other teams? What you have to look at is, "is there enough good fantasy backs available for me to get one at #10." This is a tough one... i would see what Beers thinks about this too... he's really good at fantasy also.

I have to agree with Jays here mostly. If you are keeping a receiver it has to be Moss. I would not keep both you will be screwed like Jays said at running back. You have the time from now till the draft I would assume to keep an eye on training camps and see how Martin and Jordan are doing. If you wait that long with no backs your running game will be hurting pretty bad. There are plenty of talented receivers available especially if there are only two required per team each Sunday. It's a tough call especailly not knowing what backs will be available at all let alone come the 10 pick of the round. I assume you know this league and the other members and possibly their drafting styles or what positions some of them favor over others. In general backs are the hottest commodity albeit Peyton Manning if he does what he did last year. Not enough solid starter backs and way to many comitees. I hope that helps...if not more details of the league would be helpful for us.

You must announce keepers 1 week before draft so I`ll know some, but i`m sure most will wait till last minute to post.
I was thinking I`d snag 1 RB and Gonzalez or a QB if the draft goes my way.I think 4 teams will be keeping 2 RB`s so they will be looking QB WR in first round I hope.
I drafted 6th last year and once I had picked Holt on the way back up peeps started to panic and there was a run on wr`s.I think if I go QB that may have the same effect but 10th is far from 6th if I`m wrong.
sept 11th draft

Knowing a week before the draft will help out a LOT. You will know who has what backs and who will be available. Will make it much easier to tell where you may stand. One caution on Jordan is that he needs to prove he can be a full time running back which I think he can...and also watch taking Moss and Jordan...heavy reliance on points weekly from two players on the same team is tough...though the Raiders may end up scoring 60 points a game too.

based on that scoring there isn't any difference between receivers and backs....which means that backs are at a premium due to the lack of available players...compared to the huge amount of receivers that will post great numbers

i'd watch out takin curtis martin this year...the jets schedule is alot tougher this year than last year and w/the new offense coordinator, the game plan is shifting to a more wide open attack(bout time)...more use of the te and 3 wr sets....plus, they were saying blaylock might get 8-10 carries a game

Nice starting team except for Vick but we won't go there. Who are your bench players?

How many people are in this league??? And how many of them are over ten years old? If there are 10 or more teams, you will win, and win easily.

(of course injuries could change that)
