I encourage all of you who can give to do so. I love Sportsrant and I think we have to best members of any site, and it would be huge of you to help during these tough times for the people affected.
I made my donation, hopefully we can get some more people on board here. |

there are other ways to help outside of cash. You could give blood, for instance

The more I read about this, the more pissed off I get. Money is certainly a lot to ask of anyone, that is why I am suggesting this, which I am doing myself.
The Red Cross is DESPERATELY in need of clothing, baby diapers, etc. I am going through everything I own, and taking it to my local Red Cross agency tomorrow. It is clear that FEMA and the US Government fucked the monkey on this one, and it is up to the US citizens to help these people out. I wear about 15% of the clothes in my closet, so it doesn't hurt to load the rest up, and drive it on over to the nearest agency to be shipped off, even with the escalating gas prices. I beg everyone to do what you can to help these poor people. Speaking of which....has anyone heard from Rusty???? I know he lives in the south, and is MIA. Does that bring it a little closer to home for you? PM. |
