I Hate Mondays: It's Inevitabre

Sponsored by Cybersportsbook.com

Are you ready to see the Boston Red Sox versus New York Yankees…again?

Whether you like that idea or not, as Kim Jong Il from the movie Team America once unclearly said, “It’s inevitabre”.

Half the battle is already complete since one of these two teams...

I got an idea:

Howabout we dissolve the other 28 teams and just have the Red Sox and the Yankees play each other 162 times next season.

After all, pretending that there are other teams--and moreover, fans of other teams--is like pretending there are other political parties. So I guess the question on the next ballot is: Are you a Red Sox Stater or a Yankee Blue Stater?

Well once there is a salary cap or once the other teams start spending the same amount of money, then we can talk about them.

The A's and their moneyball have yet to make it out of the first-round of the playoffs - that is when they get there. The same can be said for the Minnesota Twins.

The White Sox have been looking for a big bat all year but had they opened the wallet and kept Magglio Ordonez, maybe they would be a serious contender.

The LA Angels got spanked by the Red Sox last year and that was with Troy Glaus. What happens now without him?

As for the Indians, they are a great cinderella story but they don't stand much of a chance - if they do get there.

It is a Yankees-Red Sox league. Matter of fact, if these two teams were not so famous, Baseball would be in the gutter financially speaking.

So yes, let's enjoy another Yankees-Red Sox since they are the big boys and they generally put on a pretty good show.

I'm throwing my support behind the Los Angeles California Mighty Angels of Anaheim Orange County, or whatever the feck they're called this year.
