Wow….a few big upsets this past week. What do we take from the LSU meltdown? How good is Virginia Tech? Louisville was probably the biggest disappointment with the huge loss to South Florida (who??).

I certainly like the prediciton for CU to beat OSU on the road. I'm hoping you're right about that one.

I think we can safely say you were right about Oklahoma State - they are not Miami. CU wins the game, 34-0. A 74-yard touchdown run by Hugh Charles early in the game was all the Buffaloes needed to move to 3-1.

Not to bad at all, considering CU lost to OSU 42-12 last year at Folsom Field. I'm very impressed with my Buffaloes. The defense was outstanding today, and the running game was very efficient. Joel Klatt only passed for 153 yards and one TD, but he didn't make any huge mistakes and didn't throw any interceptions.

I am officially cautiously optimistic for next week's game agaisnt Texas A&M.

Texas A&M is not looking very good this year. They gave up 31 points to a 1-AA team and had to go to OT to beat Baylor.

Looking good for CU...

One would hope so. It's been almost four weeks since CU's had a home game, and I'm anxious to see them get back into their winning ways at Folsom again.

Lots of undefeateds go down again today. Michigan State, Minnesota, Iowa State, Florida.

Looks like the Class of the Country is starting to boil down to usc, Texass, VaTech....Indiana and Kansas went down. The Rant did pick Kansas to beat TT, and holding them to 30 points was almost enough.

One thing that I dont get and nothing to bust on UCLA, I know that you back them KP but how can you put them to 8th just becuaes they are undefeated. That should not justify the top 10. I think that where they are in the national polls is fair

Maybe if you read the initial poll, Rant Daddy, you'd know why.

Show me, at the time, a better UNDEFEATED (!) team than UCLA after the first four weeks and I would have made the change.

Whew! UCLA escaped their game tonight.

With Florida and Michigan State losing, they could get ranked even higher. But, Alabama had a HUGE win tonight against a higher ranked Florida and Wisconsin beat a Rant-ranked Indiana team. So, with UCLA's disguting win (what?!) I imagine the Rant braintrust (no jokes here!) will jump the Tide and the Badgers above the Bruins.

We shall see......

OMG was that close!!!! That was the worst Bruin game of the year, but we still eeked out a victory. Next are the Cal Bears

The biggest thing about this game is that last years team AND the year before would not have won this game.

Hey, 4-0, 1-0 in the Pac10, probably ranked 18 in the AP and USA Today polls...higher than that in the all-important Rant Poll

, I'll take it.

Beat Cal next week and this game will be a distant memory.....

This is amazing man. I watched the game at KP's and left after the middle of the 3RD quarter. While I was watching ESPN news, they reported that Wash had won the game 17-14 as a final

I still dont think that they deserve to be in the top 10 though, even if they are undefeated. Washington sucked and they gave UCLA a tough time, so maybe you need to revaluate your findings!
