Thornton returns to Boston to treat back (AP)
Bruins captain Joe Thornton returned to Boston from the team's road trip to treat his back spasms. He missed the final five minutes of the Bruins' 4-2 win over Tampa Bay on Monday because of the spasms and is listed as day to day. Thornton has no goals and four assists in four games this season....
