My thought is, 5 extra minutes of 4 on 4 would take about the same as a shootout. Sure there would still be some ties, but not as many as before. And they would still be playing hockey to decide the winner. Oh well, not interested in ANOTHER shootout debate. We have shootouts this year, my bitching and moaning won't change that. So i will have to suck it up and root for the Flyers to win any shootouts they get in.

I've already had enough of Lightning players over "deke" ing close in only to have the goalie knock away the puck before they even take a shot.
What a OT though with the Lightning getting called for three penalties and only giving up 1 shot during that time.

What??? They got called for 3 penalties in OT? Thats horrible. Some of these refs need to learn when to put the whistle away. That is very impressive to only give up one shot with only 3 players on the ice.

I'm fearing that we will see the playoffs be nothing but 5 on 4's.

Yep,it was a joke.We were shorthanded for almost the last 3 minutes of OT

We had 2 power plays,they had 9.The fans were going nuts
because from all the blatent Buffalo non-calls.The refs are calling a lot of penalties,but it seems there are different rules for each team.
