Let me be the first to say that the Marquette game withstanding, KU would not have beaten UK....period

And that game, UK coming back, down 9, 3 on 2 fast break, Erik Daniels catches pass 3 ft from basket, hits layup as player slides under him (w/in 3 ft of the basket).....CHARGE?!!!? I dont think so, total momentum killer, instead of all the mo' and only down 6 ( a good amount of time like 6 minutes left) it never gets below 9 after feeling that even after finding a way to score with a hobbled Bogans, the refs wanna pull that crap.

This year, the bench and/or one of the big guys need to step up if UK is gonna go Elite 8, like they did against UNC. KU had their best chance to win the NC last year, its over now, and if they meet UK anytime in the tournament.....BON VOYAGE to KU :evil:

I was licking my chops at the chance to play UK.....but Marquette was better. And if you think our NC chances are over, you'd better think again. We are no weaker than we were last season and the more experience our young'ns get, the better we'll be in the tourney.

Firstly, Marquette was better? Kentucky hadnt played that bad since '93, and bogans was on one aircast ankle...... But I do agree with you on one thing.........you arent any weaker than you were last year, but you are still weak. Last Year weakness 6 out of 10, this year 5/10. Outside shooting is gonna hurt you, may possibly hurt my UK boys too.......Oh wait make that 2 things I agree with you on, if the real Cheifs defense doesnt stand up, Colts are gonna pounce yall

We're still weak or weak, period??? That statement is laughable at best. If making it to the national title game makes you weak, then hell yeah, I guess we are weak. You can only dream of being as weak as we are.

Back to reality...Hopefully we get a shot at you this season. Maybe an ass kicking will change your tune?

It took the Cincy Bengals to show how beatable the Cheifs are and now let me reitterate.........The beauty of the NCAA tournament is that the best team doesnt always win, or do well, one off night and your gone........that is what happened to UK......kudos to KU for making past the bluedevils(a shade of what they used to be), Arizona (good game), and if u beat Marquette by 33, r u dumb enough to beleive u wouldve beaten UK by 47? Syracuse just gave u a preview in the first half of what was gonna happen this year if you played a team with any D or if u had a bad shooting nite, then they fell asleep second half. By the way UK 9-1 1 loss close to Louisville, KU 8-2 lost to Stanford and........Nevada? yeh lot of NC's and NBA'ers outta that program and was it a last second freak shot or bad call....nope, ass whooped by 14? Sorry, just plain sorry :P

First off, how did you get on the subject of my Chiefs? Second, why are you still on that subject?

Anyway, here's a bit of info for you. Syracuse started off last season with a loss to Memphis. They also lost to Rutgers and they lost to Pitt & UConn (twice) and none of those games were close. As long as early losses (no matter how flat out embarrassing) don't kill us, they'll only make us stronger.

Something tells me you were this confident last season about your Wildcats. Be careful because, before you know it, your 'cats will be leaving the big dance early...again.

This is at the bottom of every post you have made, do you not know that. So that is how I got on the subject, and I was still on it because it is ironic that both of my teams, UK and the Bengals, basically own yours. And while I'm not 100% confident that last year can't happen again, if UK meets KU in the tourney, UK wont look past them like they did Marquette, and the ass spanking will ensue on your perennial chokers.

Now, look at Memphis, UConn, Pitt last year, strong teams, and apparently Rutgers has a little something after watching them nearly beat UConn. But you guys lost to NEVADA? and by 14 Syracuse lost by 3 to Rutgers on a last second play if I remeber right, 7 to memphis, went 1-1 againsta agood Pitt team and yes got whipped by UConn, but NEVADA. Why don't you just lose to the WWII wheelchair team by 30, its the only way you will top that embarrasment.

Haha, Kentucky lost their second game of the season last year to a Virginia team that went on to go a mere .500 with a record of 16-16 and Kansas lost to Nevada who is a potential NCAA trourney team this year. Now usually I don't defend Kansas but as long as you were discussing last year I figured I'd jump right in..

However, I have this to ask, who isthe team you do support? Secondly, yes that was a bad loss, but we all know that after that loss and a loss to Louisville is when this UK team stepped up their game, they werent even trying before that, no excuse, just a reason, And I'd take VA over Nevada any day of the week and twice on Sunday. :?

Yes, I'm aware of that comment in my signature, but I usually post about the Chiefs on the NFL Boards!. As for your benGALS, until they beat my Chiefs (or anyone for that matter) in the PLAYOFFS, you better keep it on the down-low that they're your team.

I'm not sure how UK can own KU when they haven't even played. Nevertheless, Williams left for UNC, so (as B.B. King would say) the "choke" is gone.

Finally, I think I've already expressed how embarrassing the Nevada loss was and is. All I have to say is you better pull your fingers out of Tubby Smith's ass and cross them in hope that UK doesn't have an equally embarrassing loss.

I have been saying the Bengals are my team, and subsequently rooting for my Division winner and the playoffs and the AFC winner in the Superbowl forever. So, I know you KC fans run and hide when the team is doing poorly, but not I sir........Next we own you like this historically 98-99 beate you in Game 5 of reg season, and in sub-reg NCAA tourney and stats before that are a lil difficult to locate, and I threw in the Bengals thing because after we beat u, 4-3 the rest of the way, we drew up the blueprint...........Oh and the choke is gone? yeah, it was Roy out there losing the game in the second round for years and on the floor in the first half last year of the final right? kids were chokers..............Im sorry for beating a dead horse on the Nevada loss and i will stop, but to your retort, look at UKs schedule the rest of the way, kinda hard to have as an embarrasing of a loss when the average RPI as of now (will only get better) of the opponents remaining is 50, just where Nevada is now, and its all conference play except for Notre Dame.........and as far as CUjays i guess the Chicago cubs Hat on the picture threw me off, or is that a Creghton C? I know very little about them anyway,...... and there is a reason for that as before 3 years ago, NOBODIES
