Can't say I like him either. FYI for you guys.....best player on the team, Andre Emmett, missed a team breakfast and shoot-around so Knight suspended him for the night's game and gave him two days to run 1,500 down and back sprints. Emmett proved his worth as a man and completed the punishment and so did Knight be giving such a punishment.

I personally can't stand the guy. What I find odd is how does he still get good recruits? If I were a parent and this mofo walks into my living room how do I send my son to be taught by this man. I mean I'm aspiring to be a college track coach...and if I ever choked a kid I would never be able to get a partent to send their son to my school period. I guess people are just too damn hungry for wins. And if there is any positives at all this man can win. If it weren't for him Tech would be nowhere.

BTW...this is over 53 miles Emmett had to run in TWO DAYS. That's two marathons worth of sprints.

The magic word here is WIN and MONEY... Parents are blinded by the prospect of having their kids make it to the big league and bring home a paycheck equivalent to a winning lottery ticket every few months. These selfish and greedy parents see the SOB's ways as "building character" and discipline... so much for having fun playing a wonderful game...
