Just finished watching dvd of UFC 52...man cant wait to see the rematch of this guys Liddell and Couture! btw Happy New Year to all sports rant out there!

Well what do you think of the 3rd one? Liddell sent Couture to the retirement room! LOL. Anyway i just wanna tell ya bout my fave Rich Franklin being featured tomrow on the new UFC show. Couture is just too far out of his prime to compete with guys who are either at their peak or climbing. Chuch Liddell doesn't seem as invinceable as he used to be, though. I wouldn't be surprised to see a shakeup in the light heavyweight. I would like to see Vitor Belfort, Renato Sobral or Travis Wiuff get some shots at the belt.

last time they showed wiuff on spike...he was getting beat...and if i remember correctly...both of the others lost to liddell already....

btw guys did you watched UFC's All Access featuring Rich Franklin last week ? I thought it was awesome specially the opening part where Rachelle flaunt her boobies in here hotel room.Shes smokin HOT! great show.

Wiuff is still adjusting to fighting at 205 after weighing nearly 280 lbs. Give him some time and he'll only get better. Belfort and Sobral did both lose to Liddell, but they're both relatively young and could do pretty well in a rematch. Remember Sobral lost when he slipped on the mat and took a shin to the forehead. Take out that slip and it was a pretty even fight. I'm not saying the torch is ready to be passed just yet, but I think the days of Couture, Liddell, Randleman, etc are fading and it's time to get the new guys in there

slips happen...and as he slipped he got whalloped...i don't disagree that the old regime is just about done but you can't say liddell isn't at the top of his game

I think he is at the top of his game right now, but won't be for long if he doesn't get some real competition
